Few things in life are as nerve-wracking as bringing your firstborn child to the hospital for surgery. From the moment we met with Nurse Tina she helped to alleviate the stress. It's easy to identify someone who loves their job and that is Tina 100%. She was knowledgeable. She described medical terms in a way we understood and did it with compassion for the situation.
We felt like her only concern in the world. She did not feel rushed and described the process in great detail. We felt comfortable with what to expect for the rest of the day.
She put us at ease and our daughter at ease. The ease is to us the single most important thing a parent can ask for in this situation and Tina provided it effortlessly.
You only get that from someone who loves what they do and understands why what they do has such a big impact on the families she works with.
