Thank you sister at arms, Susan. You still serve our country by watching over fellow veterans to help restore them to 100% physical and mental recovery.
As a Gulf War Veteran, sadly, night terrors and lucid dreaming (PTSD), have plagued me for over 20 years. I was inpatient on 6C for an extremely traumatic head collision which took EMS over 3 hours to cut me out of the car and nearly took my life. I want Susan to get verbal recognition for her kindness and understanding, and please do something for her. As I lay in bed one night trying to recover from physical injuries as well as the PTSD aftermath of my traumatic experience, it was only Susan who knelt down to me in my hospital bed and made eye contact as a fellow soldier. She was able to talk me down after a very disturbing lucid dream, so real, my body went into fight or flight because what I saw truly brought horror and finality that my life was going to end.

Nevertheless, Susan sprang into action with true compassion again, calmed me, and assured me that she could identify with what I had told her because she had also been deployed to the same sandy place. Yet still in 2023, I knew she had my 6. Thank you sister at arms, Susan. You still serve our country by watching over fellow veterans to help restore them to 100% physical and mental recovery. We salute you!
