Stephanie went home and came back and donated clothes to help this individual out.

Stephanie has been extremely valuable in assisting me in my management role with secretarial duties. I feel that she is a strong member of the team and is well liked by her peers. She is a strong advocate in the perioperative setting. She is a valuable resource when it comes to sharing her knowledge to her patients and in the preceptor role. I am thankful for her continuous efforts in improving our perioperative work flow and in consistently seeking out opportunities for growth and creating collaborative partnerships with our surgical team.

One instance that Stephanie has gone above and beyond is when a patient had a misfortune and lost his belonging outside of the hospital. She went home and came back and donated clothes to help this individual out. This is one of the most selfless acts I have ever witnessed. This was unprompted and it showed her heart of gold. I am so fortunate that she is on our team. This is just one example of many acts of kindness that she does on the daily for her patients.

I could not think of a more deserving individual to receive this honor than Stephanie Sadlowski. Since I have started working here at HOCC, Stephanie has been one of the nurses that have stood out to me as someone who exemplifies what it means to be a nurse. She is compassionate and humanistic. She eases patients’ and family members anxiety before procedures.

She has been a huge asset and resource to the PACU department. I always see how she wants to continually improve the work flow of our department. She is always looking for projects that collaborate with other disciples to create collaborative partnerships within the perioperative area. She has worked on projects that involve orientation and education to the unit, chest tube management with providers, and has been a primary preceptor for our preoperative area because she is an excellent mentor and leader to the department.

Stephanie is someone who goes above and beyond for our staff and patients every day. Stephanie once donated clothes to a patient out of the kindness of her heart to help him during an unfortunate event in which he lost everything. She exudes kindness and I am personally so fortunate to work alongside her every day.
