For me to get that first, and every subsequent call from Stacey updating me on his progress, what they were doing, as well as her willingness to answer any and all questions, gave me hope, peace, and reassurance.
I was hospitalized for COVID and she was my sunshine when she came. I felt better as soon as she came in. She sat and talked. Made sure I was all right. She is a true blessing. She would call my wife and let her know how I was doing. This was great since I did not feel like talking. The two of them became friends. Without the two of them, I could not get well. If there are angels in the hospital, she is one of them. I pray the other people with COVID recover as fast as I did.
As R’s wife, Stacey’s contact was vital to my well-being also. Leaving my husband at the hospital with COVID was one of the most difficult things. He was so “out of it” when I left that he never said goodbye, I love you…nothing. We’ve been married 50 years and he always said “If I get COVID, I’m a goner”. For me to get that first, and every subsequent call from Stacey updating me on his progress, what they were doing, as well as her willingness to answer any and all questions, gave me hope, peace, and reassurance. She always spoke in a way that was calming and cheery. I was so very thankful for her phone calls and looked forward to the updates for the love of my life. In these times when some have said their final goodbyes at a hospital door, Stacey gave me reassurance all would be OK. She has compassion and a wonderful people personality. We thank the Lord for my husband's miraculous turnaround as well as for the wonderful nurse He placed in our lives to care for us. Stacey is definitely using her God-given ability and blessing the lives of those around her.
