Although our time was brief with Sierra, she left a lasting impression on me. Initially, my husband B was in one room, but was moved to a different room. While my husband was in room X, Sierra cared for my husband. He was on a vent, but was also being placed on CRRT. It was a very emotional time and Sierra provided me comfort, support, and even a shoulder to cry on. After my husband's room was changed, Sierra was no longer assigned as my husband’s nurse but took the time to come check on me and offered her shoulder to cry on. She said she gives good hugs if I ever needed them. She is an excellent nurse and cares for patients and family members alike. She is a keeper!
