Savannah is kind and considerate and treats each patient and their families as if they were her own.
Clinical Excellence: An exceptional clinician trusted by all providers and coworkers. - Our principal trainer for new hires - A mentor for new grad nurses - A triage expert - Our State Vaccine Coordinator and principal mentor for the NHIIS system - Our morale booster extraordinaire! - Works many Weekends as the Pedi Nurse to take triage burden off of the Pedi providers on call. -Constantly adjusts her work schedule to accommodate the needs of the office -Abstracted hundreds and hundreds of charts during the Epic conversion

Attitude: The office has been short-staffed- what office hasn't been? We have constant challenges in the office every single day. The way Savannah responds and deals with constant stress is just part of who she is, but also a top-notch nurse who knows that patients and co-workers are relying on her and she takes that very seriously. She is the glue that holds her team together at critical times.

She works really hard to keep teammates engaged in very thoughtful ways: Our Office Holiday and Seasonal Decorator, Her clinical teams welcome facilitator: balloons, cards, cookies to name a few. Nothing over the top - but I can tell you how much it means to those she works with. Sometimes these little things go such a long way- especially when there are so many things out of our control right now.

Professional & Organizational Pride: The nominee has been a mentor to many nurses in our office and also has been asked to mentor other nurses within the organization- this is a testament to her top-notch clinical skills, but just as important, are her exemplary service behaviors- she is what "the whole package" looks like for an exceptional nurse. She lives Our Core Values as an organization each and every day and takes great pride in serving our organization and the patients of our practice.

Patient Advocacy: Savannah is kind and considerate and treats each patient and their families as if they were her own. Calling parents to follow up from their visits to see how their child is doing, being empathetic with little ones who are in the office and not feeling well. To her persistence in getting patients what they need- pre certs for special formula (daunting!), time-sensitive letters, guidance on resources within the community etc...
