She even came to my home to check on me when she could not get a hold of me. I was in a bad state alone at home and if Sandra had not come and called 911, I may not be around.
Sandra has been a wonderful community nurse to me. She is a very compassionate and caring nurse who always goes the extra mile. She is always there for me with my many hospitalizations. Even after my discharges. She checks on me often to make sure I am ok. One time during COVID, she even came to my home to check on me when she could not get a hold of me. I was in a bad state alone at home and if Sandra had not come and called 911, I may not be around. I was admitted to the hospital and got the care I needed. Sandra is also an excellent listener and I feel safe, talking to her about anything. She is very caring. She even brought a hot meal to me during COVID and donated plates for my kitchen. She stands up and speaks up for me. Because of her, I got my 2 hour home aide back. This has made my life better. I call her my angel because no matter what, I can call her and she follows up with everything that I have asked of her. She is my voice when I did not have one. Even as I am doing better now, staying out of the hospital, Sandra calls on me to make sure I am ok. She is a caring and unselfish person. She is what a nurse should be. She is one of the best that the VA has to offer. Thank you for having Sandra at the VA. As a veteran, I appreciate her service.
