Bob then went to the nurses' station, got the right charger and charged my phone. Who does that?
I was admitted through the emergency room and had emergency surgery within an hour. When I was taken to my room that night, Bob, my nurse came in and introduced himself to me and asked if I needed anything. I asked for water which I couldn’t have, but he promptly brought me ice chips. He asked me what type of phone I had and how much battery life I had left – I told him and he asked if I had my charger – no I did not! He then went to the nurses station, got the right charger and charged my phone. Who does that? Such a small but meaningful gesture, I was so surprised and grateful because my phone was my lifeline. During my stay, Bob was the best nurse – professional and understanding. If I had a concern he took care of it and paid attention to everything. My mother was a nurse all of her life, and a good one – she would have been very pleased if she could have worked with Bob. Thank you Bob for being the best you can be in your profession and making my stay as comfortable as possible. I felt so well taken care of. A huge thank you to all staff for showing up during these trying times and staffing shortages. You all make an incredible difference.
