Arriving at the emergency room I was extremely suicidal. Rita, while doing my intake, made me feel like there was hope. She showed me kindness and empathy. Rita advocated on my behalf when I felt unheard. It's obvious she is selfless.

During my stay at BHU, Rita advocated on my behalf when I couldn't get my point across to the doctor. Rita treated me with respect and always offered me support when needed. Rita promptly responded with any requests and made me feel comfortable to tell her anything. Rita put my needs before other staff and ensured I was getting the best care possible.
