Renee's compassion is unmatched by any nurse I have ever had the pleasure of working with. The trauma patient population can prove difficult at times to care for, but Renee never breaks a sweat. Her knowledge is invaluable, and her communication with patients and families is thorough and empathetic.
Renee's selflessness reached a whole other level recently when a behavioral event on the unit resulted in a belligerent family member attempting to attack one of Renee's patients. Not only did Renee attempt to deescalate the situation, but she physically placed herself between the assailant and her patient to protect him from harm.
There is no other nurse like Renee! I wish she could be cloned!
