I was admitted to Danat Al Emarat for Ceasarean-section. Honestly, I was really nervous and anxious about the surgery and aftercare (recovery) period. Nurse Reethama was my night nurse for three consecutive nights and I would love to say that she made those hard nights seem to be really smooth and easy. From the first night she came, I know she will be my guardian angel. She was so warm-hearted, kind, loving, and caring, and treated me as if she was my own mother. She took extra care of me. Made sure I was feeling my best all the time. She came to check on me every other 30 minutes to make sure I was doing well. In addition, she came and checked on me without me calling her.

My recovery wasn't easy. She knew what I needed and she was more than happy to do it for me. One night I wasn't feeling great so she took care of my baby while I had a good amount of sleep and that's exactly what I needed to feel recharged again. In addition to that, she is highly experienced and taught me how to safely get out of bed with minimum discomfort, and practiced breathing to ease abdominal pain. She also taught me how to pump and encouraged me to express, and breastfeed and she always gave me hope that my milk flow will come. She cared a lot and was very helpful, answering all my questions and concerns. I felt safe when she was around and wanted her to be there every night because I knew I was in safe hands.

Thank you nurse Reethama for taking care of me and my baby. Thank you for making us feel comfortable and safe. You made my recovery journey a smooth one. I hope to have you for all my future deliveries.
