My nurse definitely deserves recognition for working with me to address my constellations of symptoms along with my inability to take certain medications. Rashaad quickly determined that I had an adverse reaction to one of my medications. First, he identified a need for my medical care and reached out to the on-call doctor. When the doctor didn't understand the full reaction I was having to the medication, he made sure to follow up to help me get appropriates scripts. Secondarily, he researched ways to get me my medication in alternative methods to help control the terrible side effects. Thirdly, he pursued getting another medication added to mitigate the remaining symptoms. Finally, he entered my room with a smile and an innately positive attitude. To summarize, he is a smart, dedicated and caring nurse and I count myself lucky to have had the opportunity to be his patient. I believe that his actions, compassion, and attention to detail make him a wonderful person and a true DAISY Nurse.
