My husbands nurse, Nadene, went above and beyond when he had nose surgery to fix a deviated septum. My husband was so nervous going into surgery that he was shaking, and she made sure to make him feel comfortable and relaxed. Nadene made the day so much better and calmed both of our nerves. At the end of the day, when it was time to go home, I started to feel wheezy and I almost fainted. Even though I was not the patient and I was just there to bring my husband home, she took great care of me to make sure that I was all right and gave me ginger-ale to help. She was an amazing nurse, and without her I don’t know if my husband would of even went through the surgery. I believe he would have backed out from how nervous he was. She truly was the best!
