I am a patient of Michele's for the past 4 years. My life was turned upside down 4 years ago when I was told that my cancer had returned and that it was terminal. Michele has been there every step of my journey through this tough time in my life. Michele is there for me as well as my family helping me and my family understand issues and anything that we struggle to understand. She patiently explains things to me sometimes more than once. Michele has always been there through my emotional and exhausting battles. I look forward to each treatment to see Michele. She obviously cares deeply for her patients. Michele is like family to me. After every treatment, she always tells me to have a good day and a good week until I return again. Every day her knowledge and skills are evident. Such as, for example, my port is very hard to access, Michele has found the best position to put me in that is comfortable and effective to access my port. She is very patient with all the other staff who have struggled to access it. Michele's devotion and skilled passion for her patients' well being makes a huge impression on me and my family. Michele stands out as a nurse willing and able to go above and beyond for her patients and family. She is a true DAISY Nurse.
