Meghan very sweetly and carefully did her best to remove it from his hair using shampoo and worked to comb it out. We know that she didn’t have to do this and the extra time she took with him was appreciated.
My dad was admitted with what the care team thought might be a stroke. They monitored his brain function for two days and when they were done, gently removed the many electrodes from his head. The glue left behind in his hair made him itchy, and Meghan very sweetly and carefully did her best to remove it from his hair using shampoo and worked to comb it out. We know that she didn’t have to do this and the extra time she took with him was appreciated. She also took extra time to take him around the ICU floor in a chair to try to give him a change of scenery on day 11 of his stay to try to help him get back on a normal sleep/wake cycle. He has been experiencing delirium, and her efforts to help him recover have been steadfast and more appreciated than she knows.

Additionally, her cheery disposition, sense of humor, and general way of being make her an exceptional nurse, along with her knowledge and overall skillset. My family appreciates her so much and feels so comfortable having my dad in her care that we specifically requested her when she came back from Thanksgiving break.
