Megan has exceeded my expectations as a new nurse to Huber ED. She has excellent listening skills which in such a rushed environment that the ED is, sometimes it just takes someone to listen to a patient's concerns and or complaints to change the entire course of their stay. I often hear Megan's patients state that she is kind, patient, compassionate and she actually listened to what I was trying to explain to the doctor but they didn't have time for me. Megan made that time. She also regularly checks on other nurse's patients and never hesitates to answer any call light to assist the needs of patients and their families. She frequently and regularly meets the needs of the patient and their families before needing to be asked. She is an extremely hard worker from clock in to clock out and is always a joy to work with.
