As an addict, a lot of times, I am treated differently in hospitals. I relapsed after a sufficient amount of clean time and overdosed. Megan wasn't my nurse but still took time out of her day to talk to me about what happened and offered her help. She was very compassionate and understanding, and I could tell she genuinely cared. Megan wasn't judgmental in any way and spent a lot of time, which she probably didn't have, to help me just by listening. I am incredibly grateful for her kindness.
