Matthew is a nurse like no other and I can say that because I have been a nurse for over 35 years. He is kind, smart, compassionate, and so talented as an RN; I feel he has more knowledge than veteran nurses of 20+ years. The minute he started getting me settled in my room, he put me at ease immediately. He made sure I understood everything about my care and hospital policies, such as mask-wearing, meal times, visitors, etc. He performed an excellent full-body admission assessment, he always answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. If he didn't know the answers, he said I will find out that answer for you. His ability to have new RN students shadow him was amazing. I wish my instructors would have been half as good as him. I could go on forever about this man, there isn't enough time or paper! I was lucky to have Matthew touch my life!
