When my mother and I arrived from an Emergency Room two hours away, I had nothing but the clothes on my back. By way of God, Mark, and this facility, I was provided with clothing so I was able to shower and stay clean. They provided food and most of all they provided the most superior care.
Mark's heart and love for others catered to my needs as well as his patient's needs. Patient's needs first and then me, as we had a death in the family. He had time to comfort me, to keep me from breaking down in front of my mom. I had some personal issues and he took the time to "listen". He walked me downstairs on his way home to show me where the chapel was. He constantly picked up and cleaned as if he was making things easier for me. My mother adored him! She doesn't speak much due to dementia, but she talked to Mark consistently. This man enjoys what he does! He does things outside of his job description. He does all the extras that are not required.
I call him my "angel". Only God could have chosen this man to be here for me and mom. I feel like I have been in an episode of "Touched by an Angel"! I cried when Mark said goodbye. I feel like I lost a best friend.
