Marie was an excellent nurse to have as a phase II recovery LPN. She was kind, empathetic, and a great cheerleader, even though I probably wasn't doing as well as she suggested I was; it gave me the confidence to believe in myself in another hip surgery recovery! Marie is the kind of nurse that "ALL" patients should experience. I enjoyed her little nicknames for me, like 'lovebug.' At the moment, it made me feel like I meant more to her than just another patient in her day that she wanted to get home. Being an RN myself, I recognize how a patient should be treated and how they should not. I hope that Marie continues to inspire patients in their recovery and also inspires her team to strive to be as wonderful as she is. It is true that you may not remember what someone said to you, but you will always remember how they made you feel. I felt like a 'lovebug.' Thank you Marie!
