We came in to deliver our first child, and from the moment our nurse came to help us in triage we knew we were in good hands. She was super encouraging, calming, and positive about everything. We wanted to do a natural birth without an epidural, and she was supportive about it and shared her experience with us in how she did it as well! Throughout all of the laboring process, she recommended different positions and tricks to help with the pain and getting through contractions. She also assisted in getting to the shower, which was a lifesaver. When the time came for delivery, she was present the entire time and was constantly saying words of encouragement!! After we delivered, she even helped take a couple pictures for us, which are some amazing memories we will cherish forever. Then, with clean up and getting prepped for recovery, she was super caring and helpful. Overall, when we tell our birthing story at Banner, she gets brought up EVERY SINGLE TIME and we brag about how amazing our nurse was and how she made it all that much better. Thank you, Leah!!
