One shift that was especially busy for all of the nurses on the G9SW pod, I had a patient with multiple major pathological fractures who was newly post-operative. This required frequent assistance and Lauren was almost constantly in my patient's room with me despite being very busy herself.
Day in and day out, Lauren remains calm and patient. She is an extraordinary advocate for her patients to make sure that they are receiving the best care possible. She constantly looks for ways to serve others throughout her day whether it be patients, families or coworkers. Her outlook and attitude are extraordinary, and she inspires others around her to improve their practice.
