I work for Trinity Health at the Newtown Square System Office in the Human Resource Department. My grandfather was admitted to Fitz three weeks ago. During his stay, his health fluctuated and was moved to multiple rooms and floors making it difficult for all of us to keep up with his diagnosis and gather information on his condition. His last stop before being transferred was to be moved back to the 4th-floor Pavilion. This is when I had the pleasure of meeting Laura. She took the time to answer my questions as well as my father's and even took it a step further and let me sit down next to her as she read over his notes and explain what was happening and what we could be expected given his condition.
Being on the other side, which in this case was not ideal given the circumstance, allowed me to truly see what an imperative role nurses play when taken care of a patient and their families. We had the pleasure of meeting several nurses on the 4th floor that provided my grandfather with exceptional care however it was Laura who stood out from the rest. I am delighted that I have the opportunity to inform you, what an exceptional job she did and continues to do with all of her patients as I witnessed several family members of other patients coming over and thanking her for all that she has done. After speaking with her you feel confident and well informed of what may be happening to your loved one who is unfortunately in this situation.
My family is grateful for her services and commitment. Watching her work, it's evident that this is her passion and loves what she does every day.
