My brother passed away and Krystie was there. She hugged me and said how sorry she was. She even cried with me.
For the caring of our son during the time he was in ICU, Krystie went above and beyond of taking very great care of us and him. She was always asking us was there anything she could do or anything we needed. She comforted us during this time, but I know it was hard on her as it was so hard for us. She has a caring heart because when we’d cry, she would shed tears too and you don’t get a lot of nurses like that. She was a very good nurse, and we appreciate everything that she did for our son and for us. We will never forget this nurse. My son would have been proud to know what good work you had done to take care of us. Thank you so much, we love you.

My baby brother was admitted to the ICU; he may have been on a ventilator, but Krystie made sure she took the best care of him and also his family. She always made sure we were comfortable by providing blankets and making sure we didn’t need anything. She showed a lot of compassion. She understood how we felt. My brother passed away and Krystie was there. She hugged me and said how sorry she was. She even cried with me. I told her before I left how much I appreciated her and thanked her for taking care of my brother.

Krystie was so kind and thoughtful to me, my wife, and my daughter during the time our son was in ICU. She showed us what true compassion is. She took pride in her job and did it with so much care and accuracy. She made us feel cared for. Krystie deserves this award. My son passed away, and she was right there with us. I will never forget her kindness as long as I live!

Note: This is Krystie's 2nd DAISY Award!
