Kevin Reynolds is an amazing Charge Nurse. He does an excellent job of leading the staff, not only by instruction but also by example. Kevin is always out there, hands-on, helping wherever needed. On his floor days, he exhibits all the qualities of a great nurse. He thinks outside the box and is always striving to do what is very best for his patients. He is kind and compassionate beyond measure.
Today was his floor day and he had a patient that was being discharged home on aspirin. The patient voiced concerns about being able to pay for the aspirin following discharge. Kevin knew that it was very important in this patient's recovery to have the medication, so he paid for the aspirin himself to ensure that the patient received what they needed but did not have the financial burden.
