Dr. Harvey instructs a difficult topic into bite-size pieces and reinforces each lecture with an in-class assignment. Her power points are clear and concise, and layered in a way that makes it easy to understand. Dr. Harvey’s power points will be used over and over in my nursing career.

Kayla Harvey is very caring, kind, and patient, She truly cares about her students, and always demonstrates interest and respect for her students. Kayla constantly demonstrates her enthusiasm for teaching, learning, and nursing. She is an inspiration and I would love to take more classes from her!

Dr. Harvey is an outstanding nursing faculty member who has truly made a positive impact on her students' lives. Her passion for nursing education is evident in the way she presents material and interacts with her students. She goes above and beyond to ensure that her students are well-prepared for research projects, patiently taking individual time for each student. I have had her in two classes and her patience, kindness, and care for each student's learning never cease to amaze me.
