Katherine Kent was so kind with her teaching for a patient who had a new ostomy. She spent a lot of quality time in teaching her how to care for her ostomy. When the patient was discharged home, she noticed that the ostomy was leaking. She called back in to the hospital in a panic, for help.
When Katherine was notified of the patient’s distress, she offered to call the patient and try to help. She was able to walk the patient through the process over the phone and assist her.
Katherine is always willing to go above and beyond for our patients.
