A short backstory is my son was a planned C-section at 39 weeks and he was unexpectedly very sick when he was born. He was sent to St. V from Hancock where we spent the first 23 days of his life. He's happy and healthy now at 10 weeks old and I truly appreciate Julie for keeping me composed in the scariest moments of my life.
If anyone knows Julie at HRH tell her what a difference she made to me! Everyone was great, but Julie talked me down as I bawled my eyes out multiple times. She held my hand as I was on the phone with St V. yet again hearing he took another bad turn, yet again. She waited until I hung up, let me cry, then asked me to talk to her as I sat in the wheelchair by the door waiting on J to get the car. She listened to what was going on. Explained what it meant. Then hugged me, got me in the car, and told me to go be with my baby. She cried with me as she told me to keep them updated. Of course, with all that happened and as long as we were there I failed at this but I would like to take him back to see them. I'm crying as I think of how great she was.
