​​​​​​​What sets MAJ AGBAYANI apart is the compassionate approach taken to alleviate the patients' fears during the evacuation process. Recognizing the importance of emotional support, he went above and beyond by comforting the patients, offering words of solace, and providing reassurance.
MAJ AGBAYANI NC is currently assigned at Edwin Andrews Air Base Hospital (EAABH), 530th Air Base Group, Air Installation and Base Development Command in Sta Maria, Zamboanga City. For years, the subject NC officer had exemplary performed his duties and obligations which continuously inspired the nursing service personnel of the unit to emulate his service excellence in providing nursing care to the clientele. MAJ AGBAYANI is an exemplary Flight Nurse who demonstrated unparalleled dedication and compassion during the rescue operation following the C130 crash in Jolo, Sulu in July 2021. As one of the Flight Nurses he was tasked in evacuating 26 patients from Jolo to Zamboanga City for definitive care. MAJ AGBAYANI displayed extraordinary bravery and professionalism during the early hours of the accident.

The situation demanded an unyielding commitment to the well-being of the patients, and he rose to the occasion with unwavering resolve and unwavering compassion. Throughout the flight, MAJ AGBAYANI was confronted with patients who were not only suffering from severe injuries but also overwhelmed by pain and fear. In the midst of this harrowing ordeal, he prioritized the patients' medical needs and nursing care with exceptional attention to detail. The level of expertise and proficiency demonstrated during the flight is a testament to MAJ AGBAYANI’s dedication to providing the highest standard of care, even in the most challenging circumstances.

Moreover, MAJ AGBAYANI’s commitment to patient care did not end with the completion of the evacuation. In the aftermath of the accident, he went to different hospitals in Zamboanga City where the patients had been relocated, to conduct pre-flight assessments and monitoring of 32 patients. These thorough evaluations were undertaken to ensure that each patient's condition was carefully assessed before their subsequent evacuation to Victoriano Luna Medical Center and Southern Philippines Medical Center for further medical management. MAJ AGBAYANI’s dedication to providing holistic and comprehensive care exemplifies the true spirit of nursing.
