If it hadn’t been for Jessica’s compassion and quick thinking, my husband wouldn’t be here today.
I cannot say enough good things about Jessica. She was my nurse the day following my ACDF surgery. There was so much going on that day and Jessica kept me consistently informed about the various people coming to see me and the places I would be going to. She was very patient in explaining the purpose and timing of all of these activities and answered my many questions about them.

She was so friendly and truly made me feel at home, even though I was a patient in the hospital. I felt as if she was a friend or family member taking care of me. She was so concerned about my comfort as well as my needs. She was also a great listener to my fears about how to safely move following my surgery and was very responsive to them. She took a lot of time to inform me and reassure me in this regard. I felt so well cared for during my stay. Thanks to Jessica, she is an awesome nurse.

If it hadn’t been for Jessica’s compassion and quick thinking, my husband wouldn’t be here today. He had back surgery on the Friday before he was admitted. On Sunday we had to return to the ER for pain in his leg. He was admitted and on his first night, Jessica was always there whenever we called with an issue.

The next day he took a turn for the worse. After my husband mentioned a pain he had in the chest area near his throat, that kicked the process of saving my husband's life into gear. Jessica started ordering tests and medicine. After all the testing we were told he had a blood clot in his lungs. He was started on a medicine to break up the clot.

I am so glad that Jessica was compassionate enough to listen to what my husband said and had the knowledge to get him the help he needed. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this wonderful asset to your hospital. Thank you.
