I am always just a little cautious and fearful of nurses because of some bad experiences in the past. After having Jessica as my nurse, that has all changed as I felt very calm with her. She is unbelievably nice and has an amazing bedside manner. She consistently made sure I was kept in the loop for any changes or delays in my care. She went above and beyond my expectations which changed my attitude about nurses. Jessica was always on time bringing my medicine which was so important to me with regards to my recovery. Even if something was not going as planned like an IV not working, she persevered in making sure that it was corrected and kept positive about it.

One night, when I was getting sick and she was cleaning me up, she asked me in the most compassionate and sincere manner if I was okay and what else she could do to help ease my getting sick. I was so impressed by how her responses were not scripted or robotic. When she talks with you, her voice is very soothing and has such a warm overtone making it easy to be around. Jessica always made sure that the priority of my treatment plan was keeping me safe.

It was a comfort to see her as my nurse each time she worked. I felt at ease asking her questions or just talking in general when she would do her nursing assessment Jessica is definitely the nurse I would always choose to have on my care team as well as taking care of my loved ones if they were in the hospital. Thank you, Jessica, for being the nurse you are.
