From the first moment we met Jenn, her manner put my Dad, my brother, and myself at ease. That is no small task, for my Dand and I have been in utter despair waiting in the ER for 18 hrs, but the cyber attack on Baptist plunged NWT into Chaos. I was in tears and my Dad was utterly in shock until they finally were assigned a room in ICU. What luck to be assigned to Jenn, our charge nurse! She assured us, merely by her competence and confidence, that we would be ok. She anticipates our every need; we do not even need to ask for warm blankets or coffee. Before we can form a question, Jenn provides. After my Dad's surgery to relieve pressure from a brain bleed, Jenn anticipated his recovery needs. Her quiet, quick response to not one problem, but 1,000 little problems prompt me to nominate Jenn (Worm) for your accolade. I’ll never forget her care, and my only regret is that Dad is improving enough as we speak to move to the floor… for I will not be able to see the assurance in her eyes and subsequent care of action for my Dad, my hero.
