Jennifer in the Cardiac Care Unit is the "Best Nurse" ever. She was patient and kind in dealing with my family member who is expiring. When we moved him to the Oncology floor last night, she even held his hand to the elevator. This is a prime example of the nursing care that I cannot let go unrecognized.
My family would love for her to be recognized for her kind, caring demeanor when she was taking care of my grandfather. She treated him like her own family member and continually asked us if there was anything that we needed. I know we are short staffed and overwhelmed sometimes, but she never let that show. My family appreciates all that she did.
My grandfather has been here for a few days, and greatly appreciate the care that was shown by Jennifer. We told her "thank you" many times but we thought that was not enough for all she did. She deserves this DAISY Award.
