Jeffrey Roth has been leading the stroke program at Banner Del Webb for three years. The success of the program has depended on him greatly and he has been an exceptional addition to this role. He has built many lasting relationships with stroke survivors. Jeff not only has a big heart when it comes to stroke patients but anyone in general who is a patient that needs to be cared for.
Jeff shared a story with me about a fellow Banner team member who is a nurse. She had suffered a medical emergency while away on vacation that prevented her from being able to travel home to be with her family. In true Jeff fashion, he quickly got to brainstorming to see how he can help this person get back to her family. Given his connections from previous work with an air flight crew, Jeff reached out to his previous co-workers. With a little planning and effort by AirEvac International and Jeff, they were able to collaborate their efforts and bring this Banner family member back to her family to help her heal at home. The amount of compassion and investment Jeff made to make sure this nurse was able to start her rehabilitation, which she may have otherwise not had the opportunity to do here in Arizona, just shows how much Jeff really cares. He is an amazing nurse who demonstrates the Banner Values.
