She is knowledgeable, empathetic, efficient, and kind in all her interactions.
There is not just one specific story or situation that I can write about that adequately sums up all the qualities that Jasmine possesses that make her a vital part of the Family Birthing Services family. I have watched Jasmine, over the course of almost three years, provide exceptional care to her patients day in and day out. She is knowledgeable, empathetic, efficient, and kind in all her interactions. She is able to multi-task and juggle less-than-ideal situations and assignments with the utmost grace and professionalism. She exemplifies what it means to be a team player. Frequently, Jasmine is called upon to act as "baby catcher" when our unit is busting at the seams, and we have multiple patients having babies in a short amount of time. She does this while still having a patient assignment on the unit. She will also be scheduled as our baby nurse, and, at times, be asked to take an assignment with antepartum patients or a single baby. I have never had her question an assignment, complain about an assignment, or be unwilling to help out in any way she can for the benefit of her patients and co-workers. She also helps orient new staff to our unit when the need arises. As a charge nurse, I feel extremely fortunate to have Jasmine on my team. Our patients are so lucky to have her, and her co-workers absolutely love having her here. Thank you, Jasmine, for all you do for our patients and families. You provide exceptional care, and I can't thank you enough for your hard work and dedication to our unit!
