My sister was a patient in ICU. After 3 days, the family was faced with the decision to remove life support and provide comfort care. Heather was the day caregiver on the first day of the process. She provided excellent care to my sister and our entire family. She was extremely attentive to my sister's needs as she was going through the end-of-life process. There were so many small things she did for her and us. We never had to wait for her to ensure my sister was comfortable. She was the most “proactive” caregiver I have ever encountered. She ensured she had timely medication and always put my sister’s comfort first at the end of her life. She always asked what we needed to manage this life process. She deserves to be recognized for her friendly disposition and her attentiveness to patient care. Individuals like her as a positive reflection of Arnot’s standard of care. We feel very blessed to share our final moments with our loved one under the care of Heather in the ICU.
