Gladys treated me like a special patient. She listened to me and never made me feel like I was a burden.
When I was discharged, I felt like showing appreciation, but unfortunately, didn’t know how. I stumbled on a poster that says to nominate a person. I don’t know if I was doing the right thing but I pray this gets into the right hands. I was looked after by an exceptional nurse by name Gladys. I really felt like my elder sister was looking after me. Gladys showed me compassionate care which I needed during my ordeal. Gladys treated me like a special patient. She listened to me and never made me feel like I was a burden. She made sure I was comfortable all the time and never stopped asking if I felt ok. Honestly, I didn’t feel like I was in the hospital. If all nurses can be like Gladys, then I will start thinking of becoming a nurse. She’s so caring. I really don’t know how to explain myself, all I can say is that she is a fantastic nurse. My mum can attest to her calmness and politeness. Being in the COVID ward can be frustrating, but Gladys made it easy for me. She can pass for a sister. Well done guys, for all you do. I am grateful.
