My anxiety never really had a chance to manifest due to the pleasant demeanor exhibited by Felix.
I was admitted to the hospital and I was extremely nervous. This is attributed to never being hospitalized. My anxiety never really had a chance to manifest due to the pleasant demeanor exhibited by Felix. I felt comfortable and calm as soon as we interacted and knew that I had been blessed with a health care worker who cared about his patients and enjoys his job. He really contributed to my overnight stay being uneventful and less stressful. The excellent caring and concern resumed when he returned for the rest of his shift and did not cease until I was discharged. My mother was an ER nurse for over 25 yrs so I am familiar with some of the situations and people that health care workers encounter in hospitals. I sincerely believe that Felix is a caring and knowledgeable professional that is a true ambassador for the Veterans Administration Hospital Health System. He really is proficient and respects the veteran population. I am very sincere when departing the ward during discharge when I told Felix “Thank you for your service.” Very well-deserved statement.

Note: This is Felix's 2nd DAISY Award!
