I met Emily when I was in an accident and was 38 weeks and 1 day pregnant and was taken to the emergency room. I was so scared and Emily was so compassionate and caring. She took me to the FBC where she monitored me and reassured me that the baby looked good and that everything would be okay. She reiterated that I was fine and the baby was fine and to call if I had any concerns.

About a week later I went into labor and the baby was breech, so everything was going too fast to get me ready for a C-section. Emily was there the entire time with me, all through my procedure. She is the most amazing nurse. She kept me calm, as this was my first surgery ever. I was told later that Emily was not supposed to have been working that day but she got called in. I truly believe that someone above had wanted Emily to be there with us during my birth. She later was called to help me with my lactation appointment as well. Emily is the best!
