Emilee sat down with me and had a conversation with me when I was upset about my diagnosis. She cheered me up and made me feel like she really cared about me!
I had Emilee multiple times when I was on that unit. I have had many nurses in my stay at the hospital moving from unit to unit, however from the beginning, Emilee was so nice. When she introduced herself she seemed ready and willing to help me and help me feel better. She was always there when I needed her and came in very promptly to help me with my needs when I called out. She also took the time to educate me on my medications and told me what I was taking while other nurses did not. She sat down with me and had a conversation with me when I was upset about my diagnosis. She cheered me up and made me feel like she really cared about me! She also worked with her co-workers very well. She timed everything she could with her co-workers to ensure I got as much rest as possible at night. She even walked around the unit with me to help me calm down and made sure that all my needs were met. I have never had a sweeter or nicer person. She truly is extraordinary and I will not forget her.

Emilee was an Extraordinary Nurse who took care of my mom. She was always there when we needed her, and answered all our questions. She even sat in the room with my mom and calmed her down by holding her hand and talking her to take slow deep breaths with her, while rubbing her hair. No one has ever done that. And then she also made sure our needs were met with my mom's needs, by providing up with pillows, blankets, and drinks. She took the time to communicate with the NAs to ensure mom got her pain medicines before turning or changing her. She is a great nurse and does a lot for the families and patients.
