In the 20th hour of our induction to labor, a nurse named Debbie Bellingeri came on the mid-shift to ease our discomfort and anxiety about the time frame and fever we had experienced. Her matter of factness and calm approach resonated with us immediately. As well as her empathy for our situation of fever, dilation (delay), and discomfort. For lack of a better word, her "senior enlisted" approach and experience made us feel very comfortable. An old school art form. Nursing and love as it should be. A labor of love. Thank you!

From the first IV through the wheelchair ride to the 4th floor, Debbie was truly phenomenal. Her passion for nursing, knowledge, and expertise in the field was evident at all times. She was extremely attentive, caring, and positive; making us feel as if we were the only people in the hospital. As first-time parents, we had several questions and Debbie put all our worries at ease. We felt confident that in any situation, emergency or not, she would take good care of us and our bundle of joy. Our experience here at Valley has been amazing and we have Debbie to thank.
