We had been here since 8 am with our 3-week-old due to consistent vomiting. Colleen took an immediate interest in our daughter. She walked onto the floor to start her shift and before she even sat her jacket down, she saw our daughter vomiting. She came in and went right to getting blankets, an outfit and just immediately started caring for her. When the baby threw up all over dad she found him a shirt. When I mentioned my concerns, she never rushed me. She actually listened. I had mentioned that we had not been seen by a doctor for testing yet. Next thing I knew, a doctor came up and ordered both an x-ray and ultrasound. She came to our room every time our baby threw up, talked to her, rubbed her head, helped change her and did way above and beyond what she needed to do. She became an instant comfort to all three of us. It turned out the ultrasound uncovered why our daughter has been so sick for six days. All because Colleen not only listened to my concerns but acted on them as well. We are so grateful for her. Thank you for the millionth time! Her sincerity, empathy, compassion and genuine concern was refreshing.
