Claire is my son's nurse, she is very detailed and strict on teaching us all about his trach care, trach changing, CPR class, what to look for on the trach site, even helped us to pack trach and baby bag to make sure everything is ready before we discharge. She is so careful that she tries her best to prevent things to happen and if anything happens that we are ready to handle it. She makes us not being afraid of trach on my son. Claire shows us her care even when she is not my son's primary nurse, she always takes some time to chat with us, ask how we are doing, build relationship with us and tell us other trach babies' stories, what they could do and show us a few positions that would help my son achieve his next milestone. She is very compassionate about her job and she is an inspiration to us. We are really thankful to have her as our trach nurse, we have learned a lot from her. She is a professional, sweet, amazing nurse and deserving of the DAISY Award.
