My mother has been to the Pekin ED 4 times in the last 30 days. On two of these occasions, Cindi has been her nurse. She has given my mom the best care and has treated her with caring and compassion. Cindi's sense of humor and bedside manner have definitely made a trip to the ED a better experience than usual. She listened to our concerns, treated us well, and is the only nurse that has been able to access her Power Port. Traditional blood draws and IVs don't usually work and cause severe pain and bruising. Cindi has saved my mom from that pain and stress on more than one occasion. I seriously pray that she is working every time someone close to me needs to go to the Emergency Department at Unity Point Pekin.
