She has such an excellent clinical instinct that she can recommend interventions and resources that I did not know even existed.
Christine has consistently gone above and beyond to provide exceptional patient care. We share a patient who has advanced dementia with a progressive decline prompting a transition to a dementia care unit and ultimately hospice care. Christine has been in constant contact with his wife and the staff at the care unit, wound nurse staff, and MGH specialists.

She has such an excellent clinical instinct that she can recommend interventions and resources that I did not know even existed. For example, she was able to arrange for the home-based palliative care team to examine an ulcer when the patient’s home-based VNA reached out with concern. This extra effort and instinct provided a much-needed assessment when there otherwise were no options because our patient is bed-bound. As our patient transitioned to hospice care she personally ensured that he was on the appropriate list of reconciled medications and had a smooth transition of care during an otherwise tumultuous time for his family.

Christine is a TREMENDOUS asset to our practice, and I know that our patients get better care because she is involved. I have spoken with colleagues who also sing her praises. She is undoubtedly the best primary care nurse I have had the opportunity to work with and she teaches me throughout every single encounter.

She should be acknowledged for her clinical expertise, dedication to her job, and overall excellence at the highest possible level.
