Brittany always goes above and beyond for her co-workers and patients. She is always doing this with a smile on her face. Her patient had wanted Cold Stone Ice Cream. Brittany brought him the ice cream next shift, this ice cream was accidently thrown away and Brittany went out after a 16 hour shift and bought him another one. She brings such a positive attitude to the floor.

Let me tell you about Brittany…. She is a special breed of human being who can never give enough to those around her. In her short time as an RN, she has become a competent, reliable resource to her co-workers but also finds space in her heart during back-to-back double to connect with the patients much deeper than surface level. She has been asked to speak at a funeral, visits patients daily if they go to ICU, and I just caught her straightening someone's hair…. She needs some recognition!

Brittany is a very brilliant and compassionate nurse who cares about her patients and co-workers. She is very empathetic and makes her patients feel good about the Lahey hospital experience. She is always on time and on top of everything for her patients. She acknowledges her patients and co-workers' feelings and emotions and helps them appropriately. She'll be there if someone needs help. She is an exceptional human being.
