Brenda Poil went above and beyond for an elderly homeless man who was dying. She was moved by the fact that he was alone and without family and friends. He was unresponsive at the time, and was unable to provide her with information to be able to locate and inform his family. So she went above and beyond to research the H & P written by his physician. The H&P did state that his family was located in a small town in Florida, and that they were in the plumbing business. So Brenda took it upon herself to Google plumbing businesses in this particular area of Florida, and called each and every one until she found someone who knew our patient. She was finally in communication with the family, and able to inform them of their loved one's condition as he was in the final days of his life.
