We brought our family member in for a brain scan after he had a cardiac arrest. The decision was made to take him off of life support.

Our first nurse was so good and patient; she explained everything to us. There was a shift change and we had a male nurse named Bo.

Bo was amazing. He treated him as if he was his own father. He spoke to him every time he gave him medicine. He stroked his hair and talked to him when he moved him. He treated our family with such compassion. He did everything possible to make us comfortable. He brought us food and drinks to we wouldn't have to leave our family member. He brought us reclining chairs so we could stay at the bedside. He took a bad experience and made it a special memory. It was such a difficult time. Bo couldn't have done any more to make us feel as if we were the only reason he was there that night.

I want to thank him for all of us. I want to thank everyone who was there that night. They were all so wonderful for us.
