My father was on the fifth floor as he was waiting to pass from this world. Aurora was his night nurse. Every time she came into the room, she would talk to my dad and let him know what she was going to be doing even though he was non-responsive. I know that it was a great comfort not only to my father, who wouldn't get agitated when she went about what she needed to do but also to my family. There is no doubt in my mind that, had he been alone, she would have treated him with the same kindness and respect. She was a wonderful, warm, bright spot during a very dark, difficult time.
I just want her to know how thankful we are to her for helping to keep my father pain free and relaxed during his transition from this life to what is next. Thank you, Aurora.
