I may have not met Aubrey personally in clinic, however, visiting with her on the phone, her being selfless and a generous individual needs to be recognized. It was after hours, but she made sure to go above and beyond her job duties and not rush, thinking of the time clock. She called me 3 different times this evening to clarify things and visited back and forth with the doctor. Her diligence and timely manner are something you don't come by often. I was frustrated; her confidence, calming voice, and attention made this mom feel so much better after developing a plan with a kiddo who has had a few epileptic events in the last few days. She handled my stress and made me feel like she lifted a weight off my shoulders. So thank you for your exceptional care. As we are in the midst of a true pandemic from a disease-centric focus, to a focus on patient satisfaction, patient well-being, continuity of care, nurses like Aubrey could reshape healthcare.
